How the spin works

  1. 1We pull the live 14-day forecast for every hand-picked destination, refreshed daily.
  2. 2Our scorer rates each one on sun hours, temperature fit, rain, wind, consistency, and how the month aligns with the place's statistical good season.
  3. 3The wheel only includes destinations rated promising or better for sun, or comfortably cool for shade. Wet windows, avoid-season months and excessive heat are filtered out — they never land on the spin.
  4. 4The pick is weighted random within that top pool — super-promising places win more often, but anything in the top 16 can come up.
